Insurance Coverage is Available
The process for having our program covered by your insurance providers requires several steps. Please check with your provider for their exact process.
Here is an idea of what we know so far about receiving coverage:
1. Your Vet needs to diagnose and recommend our services on a pre-qualifying form the insurance company provides. We do provide many Vets with expert insight on observable clinical symptoms, psychometric results of psychological assessment, relative history, planned behaviour modification plan recommendations to allow for accuracy in diagnosis and developing treatment plans. Please write to us if you need a clinical behaviour report for your Vet and we will explain what is needed, the cost and the expected turn-around time.
2. You require a formal estimate from us to submit with the pre-qualifying form.
3. You will learn from your provider if you have qualified. Once we are notified, we will send you an invoice for payment. You will have to pay for the service before being reimbursed by the insurance company. In other words, your insurance company does not pay up front or directly to us.
